An Unconditional Love

Posted on Updated on

Our Savior's LoveValentine’s Day seems to be the one day out of the year that LOVE is celebrated. But, why do we need to have a special day set aside to show our love one towards another?

When it comes to a perfect example of what love is, and how to love, Christ is our Great Exemplar. He willingly gave His life for us and died on a cruel Roman cross, thus showing the greatest price of love. There is no greater love than the unconditional love that the Savior has for each of us, despite our failures and shortcomings.

Each Day, not just one day out of the year,  we need to show our love for one another. Is that really too much to ask? We, as individuals, do not have unconditional love for others. There’s always conditions placed on our love for someone. We need to pray that God will give us unconditional love towards others – that He will teach us to love others as He loves us.
